We've been blessed with some beautiful puppies this spring. If you are considering adding a cavalier puppy to your family you should know that cavaliers are one of the easiest pets to own, as they are highly intelligent, have no special grooming needs and make excellent companions for all ages. They also travel very well. They do need a fenced yard for exercise unless you can take them for walks on a leash, besides just taking them out to potty. These are also house dogs and should never be left outdoors alone for extended periods of time. They are bred as companion pets and are happiest when they are with you. Because they are so sweet and do not have an aggressive personality, they are wonderful with young children and the elderly, who cannot cope with a larger, more rambunctious dog. For this same reason, the cavalier must be supervised when in the company of other pets or children, especially when they are still pups and very small, to prevent injury to your cavalier.If you feel that you are ready for the ultimate pet, and want to give a warm, loving home to a new best friend, we would love to talk to you more about owning a cavalier.
